Nate Dern is the author of Not Quite a Genius, a collection of comedic stories and personal essays that The New York Times called “very thoughtful, funny and smart.” He’s written for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Comedy Central, Funny Or Die, and the UCB Theatre. His freelance writing has been published by the New Yorker, Outside Magazine, The Atlantic, The New York Times, McSweeney’s, Vice, New York Magazine and more. He is currently the lead writer of 1047 Games, the indie video game developer that makes Splitgate, a sci-fi arena FPS with portals. Nate is a Colorado native who resides in Los Angeles with his wife, daughters, and dog.
